Measurement Systems International (MSI), a division of RLWS, is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at the Kent, WA facility.
The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for expanding product and systems sales through daily communication with an established global network of Scale, Crane and Material Handling Dealers along with OEM and Direct accounts.
Require a high-energy, self-motivated professional with strong organization and communication skills coupled with an experienced technical and mechanical aptitude.
We have an industry leading reputation for excellence with our niche industrial overhead weighing products and system solutions, including Helicopter Load Monitoring.
We focus on the ability to understand and meet the specific needs of our customers.
This role is key to sustaining that reputation by expanding market awareness of our products and solutions.
Job Responsibilities include:
Day-to-day contact with global sales network.
Development product knowledge and industry applications relevant for sales proposals.
Planning and execution of sales trips to assist dealers in identifying potential customers and sales opportunities in their markets.
Training dealers and customers on operation of MSI products and solutions.
Developing and sustaining long-term customer relationships.
Communication with customers via phone, e-mail, video conference, and on-site to assist with product solutions.
Generating sales proposals and identify methods to increase rate of closure.
Project management, providing pre-sales technical assistance, contract review, and post-sales installation with training support.
Key contact for customer and liaise with in-house Sales, Production and Engineering teams.
Attending Industry trade shows.
Contributing to Sales & Marketing planning to achieve related goals and objectives.
Identifying new market opportunities to assist product management and engineering in developing new products and features.
Candidates will hold a BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years of successful Technical Sales Experience in Industrial Markets.
Candidates must have the ability to travel 25-50% of the time.

Strong communication skills, oral and writing.
High Energy, Creative and Self-Motivated.
Must be able to provide leadership working across company departments and achieve sales and product objectives.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Acrobat, Zoom, Solid Works.
